Holidays in Villasimius

Villasimius is one of the most popular tourist destinations of Sardinia for several decades. Villasimius is located in the far south-eastern corner of Sardinia,  in a really nice position, surrounded by the sea and this assure to always find nice wind/sea conditions, since one side of the coast in usually sheltered so you can enjoy your day at the beach.

Villasimius is inhabited all around the year, so any period is good to visit it.  The heart of the town is along the main street, wich wides out at two squares in the centre of the town. A short road after the two squares brings you to the main beach: Simius.

During the summer the two squares and the main street are closed to the trafic, in order to create a wide traffic island where you can walk, do a shop in one of several stands or enjoy a drink or a gelato.

In the town you can find everything you might need during your stay: groceries, supermarkets, butcher and fish markets, handicraft shops, post offices, ATM etc.

You can rent a bike or a motorbike to explore the coast, do a trekking or ride an horse, organize a snorkeling trip to the marine protect area, go surfing/windsurfing/kitesurfing or wakeboarding, go canoeing or sailing to admire the marvelous coast. There also is a five holes golf court for those who want to play or learn.
